Experience

I am a tutor who has been educating students for over 25 years, with middle school math being my favorite thing to teach. I have taught in seventh, sixth, fifth, and second grades. My teaching certification is for grades 1-8 in elementary education and grades 5-9 in communication arts, math, and social studies. I attended Concordia University in Chicago and I currently live in St. Louis, Missouri.I spent summers teaching summer school in math through pre-algebra. I also assisted those students who needed additional help in reading and math. I like to have variety in my sessions and use a wide array of games and techniques to grab my students' attention. I also have experience with phonics, English, general test prep, and college entrance exam test prep.On a personal note, I love anything Disney and I enjoy tap dancing. I also have a great affection for animals and am currently the proud parent of a German Shepherd.
