I have experience as a Junior Achievement Tutor at local elementary schools for the past 2 years. I scored a 25 on the ACT in 2005. I have went thru local training classes with the YMCA and Teachers for America for certain teaching methods. My reason for being a tutor is to have a job that makes a difference. After working in corporate America for the past 7 years, I've been searching for a career field that actually makes a difference in someones life. I believe helping a child with a challenging subject or getting past a tough test actually would make a difference in our society and is a great way to give back to the community.
