I have wanted to be a teacher for a long time; tutoring is a great way to fulfill this dream. I was a tutor in high school, where I helped local middle school students. I was a private tutor as well, and taught the subjects of AP world history, AB calculus, and physics. I was a Hebrew school teacher at my synagogue for first and fifth grade students. At my college, I am a tutor for Each One Teach One, where I visit schools in St. Louis and tutor kids once a week as a way to serve the community. As a freshman, I am taking many classes, some of them upper level, to explore my love of history. At Washington University in St. Louis, I will likely major in political science, history, and secondary education or educational studies. I grew up near Washington, DC, and for fun, I like being outdoors and reading.I tutor a wide variety of subjects. Given my experience and interest in history, I tutor in this and related subjects (European history, American history, AP comparative government and politics, AP United States history, AP world history, and others). I also tutor test prep, including the ACT, SAT, and SSAT. Other subjects I tutor are science, math, and social studies. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals!
