The catalyst for change is knowledge. Helping students to make this change is one of the reasons why Elementary Education is my life's desire. I'm currently a student at Southern Methodist University and my major is Art and Elementary Education. I wish to help all elementary age children to master as much as they can academically in a manner that is relatable to them. I firmly believe that learning needs to be fun. I have lots of experience teaching children from pre-school level to 5th grade. I also spent time working with English as a Second Language students. Some of my favorite subjects to tutor are Social Studies, Writing, Reading, and English. I also tutor in AP Studio Art, in design and drawing. My educational theory is that students learn well through encouragement, constructive criticism, and productivity in the classroom. I live in Saint Louis, Missouri, and when I am not tutoring, I like playing the piano, painting and ceramics, reading, cooking, and baking.
